9 month status and living in Port

Yes, we know Lee's is 10 months tomorrow but we needed to let you all know that Lee got his 9 month doctor's check up less than two weeks ago. The doctor says he's doing good. He's 18 lbs 7 oz. and is 28" long. Lee may be light but he eats a lot of different foods. He eats anything and everything you give him. Of course, he is not consuming milk, peanuts and honey.

We are settled in Port Washington very well. Above is a picture of the family at Mike & Colleen's wedding which Lee danced and partied the night away. He has a regular play mate named Charlie who is a month younger. They moved from Britain and is fairly new to the area too. They seems to socialize very well together.

Things Lee is doing now is climbing up and down stairs, beds, couches. He can stand approximately 45 seconds without support. Did I tell you he loves to dance?! Lee's new thing is to give you a kiss when asked. Careful..... it could be a wet one. I'm trying to teach him to give flying kisses but the the kiss will do just fine now.

The West Coast Finale

For my 8 month old celebration, I went to my Mommy and Daddy's favorite place .... DISNEYLAND! My Mommy, Daddy, Uncle Rex and Aunt Kaitlin all came with me!

I had the best time! I rode Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion and a bunch of others.

I even got to meet MICKEY MOUSE!

Then I got to look like him.
It was a pretty hot day so I played in the grass by the railroad for a while.
I went to the forest and got to see all these pots of honey. I wonder who they belong to?
We went to the Enchanted Tiki Room. That whole room came alive! Even the walls talked to me!
After all that, I was pretty tired so I took a quick half hour nap while waiting in line for Finding Nemo.

But then I found out there was dirt in the line so I played with that instead.
At the front of the line I met a really nice cast member who asked me if it was my first time at Disneyland. When she found out it was she got me a cool "1st visit button" to wear the rest of the day!
Here I am showing it off!
And yes, it's delicious as well.
We ended the day by watching fireworks. Aunt Kaitlin took this picture of me watching the fireworks.
Anyways, that was the end of our day. Mommy says I did great even though I only took two half hour naps. She was amazed at how I just wanted to stay up all night and watch everything around me. Daddy told me there's one of these on the east coast too. I CAN'T WAIT!

That Ain't Right.

We took Lee to another child's first birthday party. There were about 8 kids ranging in age from 7 1/2 months (Lee) to 2 years. It was a pool party. So in we went.

Out of the 7 kids there, Lee loved the water the most. Some kids seemed to like the water briefly but quickly cried or got out. Lee was in the water for over an hour and loved every minute of it.

Not only did he love swimming with Daddy, but there was an inflatable tube that he was able to hold onto and float....BY HIMSELF.

This child has no fear. No one was holding him. He was just floating around the pool, happy as could be. Yes, Daddy was right there just in case.

Lastly, we wanted to really test him. How bout some UNDERWATER STUNTS!

He's quite the little swimmer. Even spat out water when it got in his mouth. Loved it and kept asking for more. We probably did 10 underwater "stunts" because he kept wanting to do them. 7 month old babies do not usually enjoy this kind of thing. Jen and I are in big trouble.
