Time In Hawaii- Part Three (Sept. 1st till Labor day)

Our last week consist of my cousin's, Brittany, 5th birthday. There were lots of things to do like play with water, go in the pool, eat cake, play with all my cousins and their friends. Even when the party was over, we hung out till late and played and ate more.

Here's my firs t football game at the Aloha Stadium. Well, not high school.... college.... not national.... it was FLAG football. My cousin, Kai noa, was playing their regional game and I got to see him in the big field.

My last day in Hawaii, we went to the Hilton and swam in the pool with my cousins. I like the water as you can see.

I had a great time with Mommy's family and friends. I know I'll be back in Hawaii soon. Aloha!

Time in Hawaii- Part Two (Week 2 thru end of August)

Here are some random pictures while not going to the beach or visiting family or friends.
Just my cousin, Nancy and I hanging out.
Mommy's friend, Michelle, recommended this restaurant. So here is Aunty Malia and I posing in front of the restaurant. After we ate, we went to Ala Moana Shopping Center and I saw koi fishes.

We're at a birthday party at the beach but no swimming for me because mommy says the water is dirty. Then she puts this crazy hat on me. It irritates my chin.

We went to the Waikiki Aquarium with Mommy's friend Gladys and her son, Nicholas. We had a little picnic in front of the aquarium where I fed the birds some of my noodles. We finally went inside and I saw many fishes. What I really liked is watching the two seals outside. See?!
We had a potluck picnic with Mommy's friends and some relatives at Ko'olina. There were about 20 of us. I got to eat more raw fish, swam, played football and saw fishes & crabs that my cousin caught for her fish tank.
After a full day at the beach, we went to a birthday party that night and I danced on the stage.
The next night, we went to a graduation party where I met more of mommy's old friends. Mommy sure does have a lot of friends and family that likes to party.

Time in Hawaii- Part One (Week 1)

We got in the morning of August 5th and waited for Kamaile & Micela to arrive in the afternoon. Once they arrived, we did some errands and in the middle of our errands, they all fell asleep.

The next day was filled with errands getting ready for the funeral but we did make time for the beach that Friday. This is at Ko'olina beach where it was baby Nancy's first beach visit. That night we went to a birthday dinner at Sizzler's for Adam's 7th birthday.
On Saturday, we had a private family viewing for Great Nana. After that we headed to North Shore to hang out, meet more family, watch the sunset and for a night time swim.

Sunday, we all prepared for the viewing that night. We met more family and friends. "Where do you want to go Grandpa?"
Monday morning was the burial. My favorite part was putting flowers in the grave. I wanted to put ALL the flowers in the grave.

After we ate lunch, we headed to the beach where I rode the paddle board and played in the sand like a turtle.

Tuesday afternoon, we went to Ala Moana beach. There's a funeral tradition that after a funeral the family goes to the beach or river to "Gol-gol." It when someone puts a liquid concoction over your head, face then you turn towards the ocean and go into the water. It is to take out all the negative spirits out.

Wednesday, Kamaile and Micela went back home. That night we had a dinner at Sam Choy's. Guess what I ate for dinner?! Ahi-Poki (raw fish).
